I am an American that lives part time in Rome, Italy and North Carolina, USA that is dedicated to sharing my passion for Italian cuisine with the world. My grandparents were from Grumo Appula, Italy that is in the province of Bari in the region of Puglia. In fact 5+ generations of great grandparents are from Grumo Appula that date as far back as 1770, which makes complete sense as my grandmother was an unbelievable cook (being pugliese of course). The Puglia region is known around the world for amazing cuisine, rich culture, and spectacular scenic views as we discovered during our trip to Puglia in 2021.

This journey melds my love for Italian culture, food, and my passion for cooking that I learned at the hands of my grandma. Since those days have been preparing feasts inspired from the delectable dishes of Italy which includes a Wood Fired Pizza Oven (il forno a legno).
